LION PRIDE BRING DOWN THREE BUFFALOES IN JUST 15 MINUTES DURING EPIC HUNT
A lion pride brought down three buffaloes in just 15 minutes during an epic hunt.
Jan Els was on a tour of Kruger National Park, South Africa, on August 28 when a group of predators put on an incredible show.
Dramatic footage captured after the pride had made an earlier kill, showed two lions bring down one buffalo before turning their attention elsewhere.
The second prey took a bigger effort with seven lions putting in work to bring it down while a third buffalo was hunted next to some rocks.
Jan said: “This was by far the biggest and most dramatic hunt I’ve ever witnessed. We’ve seen single hunts before but seeing multiple buffalo killed in one encounter is extremely rare.
“It was a mix of shock and awe. You know these things happen in the wild, but witnessing it firsthand is something completely different—it’s raw nature at its most powerful.
“I’ve been visiting and exploring Kruger for over 17 years, and every trip brings something new and unforgettable.”
