A powerful rhino flipped a two ton rival over in a watering hole using its horn.
Denis Herzog was on a tour in Etosha National Park, Namibia, on January 17 when he came across two testosterone-fuelled males posturing.
Incredible footage captured an older rhino facing up to a younger rival – with the longer horn – in a battle over territory.
The younger male managed to get the upper hand and used its longer horn to get under the front leg of its opponent and topple it into the water.
“Our local guide told us the younger one was trying to assert its dominance over the land by challenging the older male.”

Denis said: “I’ve been photographing wildlife for 30 years and this is the first time I have witnessed such a scene.
“Our local guide told us the younger one was trying to assert its dominance over the land by challenging the older male.
“When we arrived on the scene, the fight seemed to have been going on for some time. They alternated between resting and attacking. The fight carried on for more than 30 minutes.”
